Dr. Sara was born and raised in Nova Scotia. She attended the Atlantic Veterinary College on Prince Edward Island and moved to Ontario following graduation to pursue an internship in wildlife medicine before transitioning to general practice.

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her partner and her dog Larka, as well as skiing, horseback riding, physical training, and painting.
